Leesa Mattress Review

I have been sleeping on a Leesa for well over a year now, and I’m sometimes afraid to test out other mattresses. Why? I’m so comfortable on the Leesa that I just don’t want anything to interrupt my sleep schedule. Sometimes I find a good one, and sometimes I don’t so you can imagine why I don’t like to be separated from one of my favorites.

What’s Inside the Leesa?

The Leesa Mattress consists of 3 high quality foam layers.
The Top Layer is 5cm of Cooling Avena Foam Layer. Its main job is to provide airflow for cooler night’s sleep as well as enough bounce for the freedom of movement.

The Middle Layer is also 5cm. It is the pressure relieving foam layer that delivers body contouring together with pressure relief that you would expect from your memory foam mattress.

The third layer is 15cm of core support foam base. Adding strength, durability and structure to support sleepers of all sizes without feeling too firm.

The Leesa mattress was constructed carefully from the inside out to give you the comfort, support and what every sleeper is expecting as they look forward to dive into a high quality memory foam mattress!

The Leesa mattress is a completely redesigned mattress offering a Universal Adaptive Feel™ that adapts to all body shapes and sizes and all sleeping styles. Most sleepers find this to be the most defining difference with a Leesa. Each layer of foam is carefully selected to provide core strength, memory foam pressure relief as well as cooling and bounce.

The Leesa mattress is 25cm thick. Under their Iconic Four- Stripe Cover you will find:

The 15cm foam base allows for a solid, supportive base that helps the Leesa maintain long-lasting stability both as you sleep and when you sit on the edge of the bed.
The 5cm memory foam center provides that signature cloud-like feel to hug to you as you sleep. Strategically positioned below the cooling layer, the memory foam is free to live up to its reputation of blissful comfort without the risk of over-heating the sleeper.
The 5cm top layer of cooling foam, is designed for a cooler night’s sleep.

This unique combination of performance foam layers will deliver Cooling Bounce, Pressure Relief and pf course Core Support for amazing sleep night after night.

Sleep Test Results

I spend a great deal of time sleeping on the Leesa mattress. I have way more mattresses than I can handle testing right now, yet I just can’t pull myself away from my Leesa. Let’s go through the pros and cons of the new Leesa:

Pros

Works well with adjustable bed massage feature
Amazing cover, they actually sell blankets in the US
Cooling responsive foam layer keeps the mattress cool in the summer
25cm 3 layer all foam mattress. This is on the thicker side for foam mattresses

Cons

You will sink into the mattress a bit when you are standing on it. That’s not how we sleep though is it?

Who should buy the Leesa Mattress?

This is the best mattress for side sleepers, I am a side sleeper so we were meant to be together. It also works well for back sleepers, but I don’t feel like it is firm enough for stomach sleepers.

Basically what makes Leesa so unique is that Top Avena Foam Layer. The way it responds to your body movement without waking you up is amazing. But we don’t want to forget yet again the main role it plays, KEEPING THE ALEEPER COOL allowing better airflow.

The Leesa mattress is proven to adapt to your body no matter the size, giving you that optimum support and comfort.

If you buy one Leesa is going to donate 1/10 of the sale to a local charity, so right there you have an extra incentive to get one. Like the US, UK have the One-Ten program and they donate to charity organizations across the world who offer range of services for individuals and families that are at the risk of homelessness, are homeless or have experienced domestic violence or any other problems. In the UK they have donated to Manchester City Mission, Betel UK, SHP and Roundabout.

With a 100 day risk free trial period you will have plenty of time to decide if it is the right mattress for you. Leesa has one of the lowest return rates in the industry, that’s a part of their secret sauce. Leesa has sold well over 300,000 of their mattresses in this highly competitive market.

Additional Leesa Information

Universal Adaptive Feel
Made with 3 layers of ultra premium foam, the Leesa is perfect for all types of sleeping positions.
No need to visit a mattress salesman
Don’t you hate it when a high pressure salesman stares at you as you attempt to try out a mattress? You can buy the Leesa without going to a showroom.
100 Night Trial
On the rare occasion that the Leesa isn’t for you, they will arrange to have it picked up and delivered to a local charity or shelter.
1 in 10 Program
Leesa donates 1 mattress for every 10 they sell. I have done the math on this, they have donated over 30,000 mattresses to people in need.
One Earth
One tree planted for every mattress sale. They say that they have planted 135,000 trees to date. I think they have sold more mattresses than that figure, so they may need to get back to work planting more trees.
West Elm Partnership
You can test out Leesa’s products at a West Elm location near you.
